Stage 1 Ascender Leaf Spring Kit

Keep your rear shock towers on, save the rear body mount posts, and still convert to a leaf spring suspension in the rear! This kit will retain the stock body mount setup for a really easy conversion and no change in body mounting.
This conversion kit keeps the same wheelbase you currently use on the Ascender platform, whether it's the Blazer or the Bronco, or a custom body with the same link setup.
The kit contains all the items to assemble the truck, and we offer a Tamiya 9808091 leaf spring option to add to your kit. If you want to use a softer leaf spring, we recommend the Red RC4wd or TF2 leaf spring. You can also tune the suspension using helper springs under and over the main leaf.
There are 3 positions for mounting the front spring hanger, as well as the rear swing hanger. Use these 3 positions to tune your wheelbase and adjust for the leaf spring length.

2 axle spring mounts
2 front spring eye mounts
2 rear swing hanger mounts
2 rear swing hanger bushings
2 spacers for eliminating rear bumper mounts

*To upgrade this to the Stage 2 flat top kit, please add the Rear Shock bridge item, available separately, (2) M3 x 14 screws for the lower shock mounts, and 4 spacers to eliminate the rear shock towers.*
